This past weekend I spent with colleagues Hademar in Carinthia, of course, the odd lake unsafe.
The weather forecast could hardly have been worse, so we went prepared for the worst. More plastic garment Other than in the luggage we went first for a night at Lake Faaker.
turned the boat to beat around the island of Lake Faaker and could find a pike
A really good result for just three hours spinning and even the rain, we were (almost) spared.
The residence in the afternoon was unsuccessful, so we grill and chill Ender Ender as passed the time.
In the evening we were at St. Magdalen Villach invited to a graduation ceremony (thanks again @ Lina). All I can say something only limited .... a lavish party .....!!!
As chance would have it the party took place on a lake property with a jetty and every other comfort, so we could skip the next day the same volley from the party to fish.
a really fat chub to the plucked Tauwurm. I have not measured it, but I think it was my biggest so far. He also fought really hard in the lightweight device (Berkley Skeletor 2-12g)
The rain, the wind, the cold ,.... somehow it just fit all, and a few throws later, I was able to land a good drill to a magnificent bass.
The Währe then the 2nd PB within a single hour, a short and a Hoibe were the logical consequence ......:-))
The light disappeared faster than expected, and I had to rush right to attach a couple of litters before complete darkness. Now, however, were no longer fashionable Spinner, instead I took great Shad, Zalt, and jigs on the water's edge.
Just before I had all the bait I do want to fish, I got my feet in front of a brutal bite to a 2-part Xp's in Wobbler Bafo design. A wild drill in light of the lamp head resulted in the hand landing a 90cm-long pike. Not PB but damn close on on my '93 last year.
In conclusion I would again emphasize the good stock of both exploited fish lakes, for the first trip to these lakes, I am very satisfied.
